QUALITY MANAGER The Quality Manager is responsible to ensure the Plant specific Quality Systems are being complied with by all departments at Plasman.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality objectives to support corporate and facility initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Performs audits to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
- Develop and maintain quality management programs and drive initiatives for corrective actions and improvements.
- Facilitate quality training programs to ensure team members are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints to develop effective resolutions.
- Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and build strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation, supporting audits and inspections.
- Oversee internal audit programs to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or related field; a combination of education, training and years working experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
