We are looking for an exceptional Financial Assistant to join our Finance team**.**
DUTIES
- Support the preparation of financial statements by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Perform regular reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations, to ensure the accuracy and validity of financial and payroll transactions within the Business Central and the payroll system.
- Maintain oversight of accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring deadlines are met and cash flow remains stable.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and high-level updates for senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets in coordination with department heads.
- Prepare financial forecasts, monitor variances, and provide variance analysis reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making and operational planning.
- Identify trends and provide preliminary insights on cost management and revenue performance.
- Assist with the ongoing review and improvement of financial processes to ensure the integrity and efficiency of financial operations.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and established procedures.
- Support periodic internal audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
- Provide support during the external audit process by preparing required documentation and working closely with auditors.
- Monitor cash flow projections and assist with maintaining proper liquidity levels.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Work with the finance team to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, and/or a related discipline (e.g. CPA) is preferred.
- two (2) or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial software such as Business Central, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
