About the role

Pharmascience is currently seeking a Manager, Operations Training and Documentation.

The Manager is responsible for overseeing the training program for the Operations and Quality teams at the site. They are also in charge of managing operational documentation. This key role ensures the development and implementation of training initiatives and competency development for the Operations site.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Approve procedures, change notices, CAPAs, deviations, and extensions
  • Participate in regulatory and client audits; act as SME
  • Support the internal audit program
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees across various departments
  • Manage the training and documentation team, including trainers, coordinators, and advisors
  • Assess training needs and employee competencies to determine appropriate training programs
  • Design and deliver training programs for pharmaceutical production employees, including technical, functional, and behavioral training
  • Develop training plans for new and existing employees
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as needed
  • Coordinate and manage training activities for pharmaceutical production employees
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure training programs align with business objectives
  • Manage training budgets and related expenses
  • Maintain accurate records of training programs and outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor trainers and other training team members
  • Manage the onboarding program for new employees
  • Innovate by proposing new tools or improving existing training tools
  • Support the periodic requalification program and oversee ongoing training for technical trainers in operations
  • Lead documentation and training improvement projects to address issues
  • Manage KPIs for training and documentation, ensuring documents are issued, reviewed, and compliant within cycle time requirements

Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

  • Excellent command of French; functional proficiency in English (spoken and written)

  • Knowledge of injectable and solid dosage forms
  • Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related sector
