- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in meal preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in food preparation.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and management.
