THE OPPORTUNITY: SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR
We’re seeking a curious, technically-savvy, and systems-minded Salesforce Administrator to join our Technology team. You’ll be the go-to expert for administering and evolving our Salesforce ecosystem and connected tools, delivering smooth, intuitive experiences for rennie’s real estate advisors, home office teams, and clients.
This is a hands-on role, balancing system design with day-to-day operations and user support. You’ll partner with stakeholders across departments to translate business needs into smart, scalable platform solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding, configuration, and rollout of Salesforce solutions for advisors, projects, and employee teams
- Customize and optimize Salesforce workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and approval processes
- Manage integrations between Salesforce and connected systems (e.g., marketing automation, customer service tools, telephony, transaction platforms)
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and custom analytics to enable data-driven decisions
- Ensure clean, reliable data through regular audits, imports/exports, and duplicate management
- Own system administration, including user roles, permission sets, backups, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Document SOPs and configuration architecture for long-term knowledge continuity
- Provide responsive user support, guidance, and hands-on training across departments
- Proactively assess performance, identify system enhancements, and recommend process improvements
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, tools, and best practices—bringing forward fresh ideas and capabilities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Education and Experience
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder is a plus)
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in a configuration and admin capacity
- Proven experience managing Salesforce integrations—ideally with middleware tools (e.g. Zapier, ETL tools)
- Experience working with or administering Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud
- Bonus: Exposure to Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning, APIs)
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient with Absona, Demand Tools, and Google Workspace
- Fearless with technology, you take the initiative to develop your expertise and become the subject matter expert. You have proven experience doing this: in both Mac and Windows environments; with desktop, web-based, and mobile applications; and with a range of systems that integrate with Salesforce.
- Familiarity with full lifecycle product development, QA, and deployment
- Strong process-orientation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Resourceful with demonstrated ability to identify issues and opportunities, solve problems, and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and as part of a team
- Asset: Proficiency with Apex classes and triggers
- Asset: Proficiency with SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and/or API integrations
Working Conditions
- Our home office is located just outside of Granville Island in Kitsilano and this role is primarily office based with some flexibility to work remotely
Salary Information
The typical base salary for this specific position is from $87,000 to $98,000 (annual rate, prorated based on contract duration). The salary offered is based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors including education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
