Description The Data Quality Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing eCommerce product information. They will identify & correct errors in product data in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Key metrics for this role may include
consistently applying the rules established by GS1 Canada team and third-party provider to ensure data integrity goals are met, reaching defined data review targets and tracking daily tasks and activities.
Key Responsibilities eCommerce Content Data Validation
- Responsible for the review, correction and approval of the eCommerce data attributes captured to ensure 100% accuracy and complete data is scraped.
- Maintain and apply established data quality rules, procedures and policies for eCommerce content, and where issues or ambiguity arise, determine and apply appropriate rule, policy or procedure and communicate to team to enable consistency.
- Maintain an understanding of AI and Machine learning technologies to ensure tool capabilities are fully exploited and optimal efficiency is attained.
- Provide recommendations for enhancements and amendments to address systemic and process inefficiencies.
Supporting Daily Data Quality Assurance
- Assist with daily reporting and assignment of daily workload.
- Assist with Incident Management activities and feedback to subscriber.
- Take part in project deployment activities as an eCommerce content subject matter expert, such as requirements gathering and/or user acceptance testing.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new coordinators and external team.
- Perform various other duties as delegated or assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bilingual (French/English) advanced proficient language skills are required in this role.
- Excellent written and orthography skills needed in both English & French.
- Proven high level of proficiency in MS Office is required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Detail-oriented aptitude required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, possessing a high level of problem solving, initiative and analytical abilities.
- A team player that engages in team collaboration efforts and supports colleagues to ensure quality and consistency are met and sustained.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and take responsibility for timely and accurate completion of tasks assigned.
- Self-starter, self-motivating with strong work ethic.
- College Diploma/Degree.
- 1-3 years related experience with initial and On-going training.
