This role is not high-pressure sales—instead, it’s focused on education, relationship-building, and engagement. Some schools do purchase our products for their students, in which case, you’ll earn a commission.

This role requires creativity, adaptability, and hands-on execution using modern digital tools. If you're used to working in highly structured, slow-moving institutions, this may not be the right fit.
Role Description: The goal is to create awareness about our products and encouraging schools to recommend them to their students. We believe we have an awesome exam prep solution, and we want to get it out there. This is not a high-pressure sales role; instead, you will focus on education and relationship-building. However, you will also play a sales role, as some schools pay for their students. With school sales, you can earn a commission. You will also serve as the school account manager. There will be probably less than 10 schools to manage, it is not high touch at all. Overall, there will be hundreds of schools to connect with.
This role is a manager role, therefore you're not just executing, you are imagining, creating, problem-solving, and fine-tuning solutions continuously. You can't go wrong as long as you keep moving forward and trying to tell the school about our awesome exam prep solutions!
We know it’s quite impossible to do the work alone, so we have a great team, and we like to use documentations, so we can do our work while, without losing our heads.
It’s an active position, and we have a startup mentality. So, we like to move fast, change directions quickly if needed. One of the most important qualities you need is the mindset of “make things happen.” You won’t wake up being told what to do. You will wake up creating goals, moving the needle, coming up with ideas, implementing them, and reviewing what went right and wrong.
Must use all the tools that can help, such as CRM, automation, etc.
You will be a portfolio manager, in a sense that you are working with multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creates strategies for school engagement
- Work with the leadership team, to create quarterly goals, monthly goals. Example, number of schools, we are engaging, number of free demo accounts we provide.
- Create a strategy according to the goals. Example, we have a great lead magnet, webinar about the new guidelines update, this should be communicated to all the students and faculties. What is the strategy we are going to use, to share this message, most effectively and the most amount of students and faculties?
- Continuously find ways to improve our communication with those schools. For example, do we need to send gifts? Do we need a video?
- Use software and system to track the efforts and goals.
2. Relationship Building
- Contact all the schools, those we have relationships with, and those who are new to us. Basically, make new friends, and keep the old ones happy too.
- Actively listen to the schools and faculties need. For example, their national boards, fail rate, struggles they have with their students, etc.
- Come up with creative ideas to build stronger, relationships. Example, pizza, and trivia, etc.
- Communicate findings back to the team. This can help with product and content development. Example, student stubble with mock examination. Suggest a solution to the education team. You are the eyes and ears into the schools, in faculties who make a lot of decisions for their students.
3. Lead Generation
- Actively research dental hygiene schools' decision-makers. This list continuously changes. It will take phone calls and asking questions to find the right person to talk to.
- Personalize the outreach, the goal is to be turning a “cold” school, to a school that actively recommends our education solution.
- Reflect all the changes in our database.
4. Product Demos & Presentations via Zoom and phone calls
- Provide engaging product demos to faculty and school administrators, showcasing how our exam prep solutions can benefit their students.
- Highlight key features such as case studies, organization, etc. ensuring they understand the value of the product for student success.
- Make recommendations based on the school’s needs, and offer free demo accounts or books to review, where applicable.
- Present to the students. We also create presentation such as test taking strategies. You will provide those to the schools, the students. You don't have to be an expert in this, the presentation will be created together, and you will get training.
5. Invoicing & School Onboarding, renewing contracts
- If a school enrolls all their students with us, provide an on boarding process for the faculties and the students. Be the account manager in this case, making sure the students have access, etc.
- Continue supporting the school, by checking in monthly, or whenever it is needed.
- Manage invoicing, payments, and contracts, working closely with our virtual assistant who helps operationally.
- Renew contracts for schools. Actively reach out before the expiry date of the current contract, actively seek new contracts. The goal is to have 100% renewal for existing contracts.
- Act as an account manager, which means continue supporting them. Faculties have access to the students progress, so they may have questions about how to access the system, etc. Generally, schools do not need much help once they are in our world.
6. Collaboration with Marketing & Education Development
- Work alongside the marketing team to create effective outreach materials such as pamphlets, demo accounts, and books to engage schools. Example, create new graphic for faculties.
- Sharing feedback from school interactions that could inform future product improvements or marketing strategies.
7. Presentations via webinar and in person to students and faculties
- Conduct webinars such as welcome sessions, information sessions. The presentations will be created with the team.
- A few times a year, in person, presentations in associations, schools, etc. Example: lunch and learn.
- Sometimes, students may need to get some information. We offer them to meet with one of us via zoom.
- Founder of the company, Claire also travels around US in Canada, providing free classes to the students. Coordinate with the schools, actively recommend the classes, to create a stronger relationship. Example, last year, we travelled to Arizona, presented in four different dental hygiene schools in two different days, providing lunch, networking with the students and faculties. (3-5 times/year)
- Moderate during trivia nights. Find presenters if needed.
8. Conference, attendance, and marketing work
- Represent the brand, in various conferences in US in Canada, including larger, dental hygiene, association meetings, and smaller educators' meetings. (2-3 times/year)
- During the conferences, network. if we have a booth or table, actively seek conversations, and contacts.
- Coordinate lunch and learns.
9. Others
- Our Practical nursing brand will release a textbook. Work with operations to create a published book. Includes working with content, being able to hire content experts, if needed.
- Work with sponsors, or find potential sponsors.
- Schedule conferences, find venues to promote the brand. Negotiate rates and speaking time in conferences.
- Create newsletters for schools and students.
- Social media presence if needed.
- Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to create better systems and processes.
Expectations
- Become proficient at navigating the different exams guidelines (example, VTNE for vet tech; NCLEX-PN for practical nursing; SPI for sonography etc.).
- Send and follow up with about 20-50 emails and 5-10 zoom calls /week.
- Present with passion, integrity, and empathy.
- Team meeting: three times a week. Must be available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the morning for team meetings.
- Manage hundreds of schools, this requires a lot of organization skills.
- Use all the software that we utilize: CRM (pipedrive), asana task management, Slack communications, emails, etc. ( we use a lot of software, must be adapting to the new technologies fast)
- Work with one of our school engagement manager in dental Hygiene, marketing manager, and education manager.
- This is not a sales position. However, the expectations are closely related to goals and targets.
- Travel 3-5 times/year, for conferences, presentations and meetings.
- Travel once a year, for a team strategy and networking event.
- Leadership, the company growing, therefore you may create your own team down the road!
- Webinars to students: 1-5/month, presenting or moderating.
- Must be proficient in AI and automation tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience in communicating (emails, phone calls, zoom calls), presenting, and creating long-term relationships.
- Experience in learning management system (LMS).
- Experience in allied health sectors. (nursing, vet tech, emergencies, etc.).
- Experience working in education settings, being familiar with school structures, class requirements, faculty hurdles, etc.
- Proficient in digital workflow. Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM software (Pipedrive preferred).
- Proactive mindset. We are small company, and wear many hats. Directions can change, and creativity is encouraged. We never do the same job the same way every year.
- Passion for education and helping students succeed.
- Experience in sales and marketing.

- Experience in teaching.
- Experience working in a small, digital-first company or startup—or a strong ability to adapt quickly to remote, fast-paced, tech-enabled environments.
Pay Structure:
- Base rate: full time $70,000–$90,000 CAD/year, depending on experience and hours/week (this job can be 30-40hr/week)
- Hourly: Around $35 – 45/hr
- Commission for direct school sales (when school signs up the entire student class) and targets (the upper limit of the salary range reflects this bonus). 5% of total school sales. Up to $10,000/year.
Work Arrangement:
- Remote position.
- Part time or Full-time (20-40 hrs/week), we just want the right candidate
- Flexibility.
- Must be available for online meetings, on Monday, Tuesday, Thrusday mornings with the team.
