Job Summary
This role is responsible for sanitation of production equipment, grow rooms, ancillary supporting rooms, production corridors, office spaces and change rooms and restrooms. All sanitation must be completed as per standard operating procedures and with the highest quality standards.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performing sanitation activities, such as cleaning of rooms, tools, and other materials.
- Supporting with housekeeping tasks.
- Following task specific procedures with care and accuracy.
- Recording completed tasks to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
- Following regulatory requirements as per the Cannabis Act and Regulations, as well as GlassHouse Botanics Standard Operating Procedures.
- Communicating with Team members and Sanitation Team Lead efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure tasks are completed.
- Operating machinery as required (e.g., steamer, fogger).
Must Haves:
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong history of attendance and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions in English.
- Ability to work in a team, and occasionally independently.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on your feet for most of the day (standing and walking), or sitting for long periods of time.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in sanitation or in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in an environment regulated by Health Canada.
- Experience working under EU GMP requirements.
Job Specific Demands:
- Willing to wear the provided uniform, and personal protective equipment as needed (i.e., respirator, eye protection, hearing protection).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
