Jim Tubman Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Lube and Tire Technician for our service department. The individual should have a passion for the automotive field while having a positive and professional attitude that shares our vision on customer service.
Must have at least 6 months of relevant job experience.
Duties of the position
- Inspecting vehicles and reporting on the condition
- Performing basic maintenance such as Oil and Filter Changes, Filters, Bulbs and wiper blades
- Prepare estimates and explain which services are required for the customer’s vehicle with the service consultants
- Installing and balancing new tires onto vehicles
- Performing other shop duties as assigned
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements of the position
- Valid Ontario Driver’s G drivers license with a clean driving record; Driver’s abstract is a requirement
- High School Diploma
- Automotive dealership or similar experience is a definite asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
