Role Summary
As a Lifecycle / Retention Marketing Manager, your mission is to maintain and grow client relationships while owning the lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, subscriptions, and loyalty.

How This Role Fits on the Team
You’ll work closely with the Email Marketer, who owns hands-on execution in Klaviyo, performance tracking, and technical setup.
Your role as the Lifecycle / Retention Manager is to:
- Lead client communication and retention strategy
- Set the campaign calendar and lifecycle roadmap
- Guide the team in delivering impactful campaigns and flows
You own the relationship and strategy — the analyst brings it to life through precise execution and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact — lead bi-weekly calls, manage communications, and translate goals into actionable strategies.
- Own the campaign calendar and retention roadmap across email, SMS, and loyalty initiatives.
- Guide lifecycle planning from acquisition to repeat purchase, with a focus on LTV and engagement.
Team and Project Management
- Lead your pod (copy, design, tech) to execute flows and campaigns on time and to standard.
- Review creative assets for clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice and strategy.
- Manage tasks and priorities in ClickUp, ensuring visibility and accountability across the team.
Retention Strategy and Optimization
- Use Klaviyo and CRM tools to define segmentation, flow logic, and campaign triggers.
- Collaborate with internal performance analysts to identify trends, A/B test opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Drive strategic experiments and client projects aimed at increasing retention, repeat rate, and overall revenue contribution.

Qualifications & Experience:
✅ Required:
- 2+ years in Account Management, Client Success, or Lifecycle Strategy — ideally in an agency or with DTC/eCommerce brands.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle and retention marketing, including email, SMS, subscriptions, and loyalty programs.
- CRM knowledge is required. Experience with Klaviyo is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead strategy calls, manage deliverables across a pod, and build strong client relationships.
- You love talking to people and can turn complex goals into clear direction and results.
- Attention to detail when reviewing copy, design, and campaign assets.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Shopify and how it integrates with Klaviyo.
- Background in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or growth strategy.
- Experience using ClickUp, Figma, and Slack in a professional environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
