📍 Coppinwood Golf Club – Uxbridge, ON
💼 Pay: $20–$25/hour
🗓 Start Date: August 2025 | Contract Ends: November 30, 2025
🔁 Opportunity to return in April 2026
🚗 On-site only – access to a vehicle required
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced accounting environment? Coppinwood Golf Club is seeking a Seasonal Accounting Assistant to join our finance team for the 2025 golf season.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will:
- Accurately enter Accounts Payable invoices into Jonas software
- Collaborate with department heads for invoice approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely payments for utilities and credit cards
- Perform G/L account reconciliations using Excel
- File and organize financial documents; shred confidential materials as required
- Review seasonal staff timesheets and obtain approval from department heads
- Assist with payroll processing and government remittances
- Support special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
✔ 1–3 years of accounting experience
✔ Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
✔ Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
✔ Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
✔ Ability to commute to our on-site location with your own vehicle
