As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced, strategic Business Development Manager to build and scale our opportunity-creation engine.
The Role
As TMA’s first dedicated Business Development Manager, you will own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of business development function. In this role, you’ll hire, mentor, and motivate a team of up to five Business Development Representatives (BDRs), craft playbooks that turn outbound and inbound signals into qualified opportunities, and partner cross-functionally to exceed pipeline targets in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Lead the BDR Team
Recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing team (up to 5 BDRs), instilling best practices and a winning culture. - Develop Scalable Playbooks
Architect and iterate multi-channel outreach cadences- email, phone, LinkedIn- that resonate with facility- and asset-management buyers. - Drive Opportunity Creation
In partnership with the marketing team, take accountability for top of funnel pipeline generation, own ambitious targets, track KPIs in Salesforce, and refine qualification criteria to drive sales-ready opportunities. - Align with Sales & Marketing
Partner with Marketing to translate campaigns into actionable plays; collaborate with Account Executives on ideal customer profiles, handoff processes, and feedback loops. - Leverage Modern GTM Tools
Leverage ZoomInfo for prospect intelligence, Gong for call-coaching insights, and Salesforce for pipeline reporting and forecasting. - Analyze & Optimize
Use data- activity metrics, conversion rates, cadence performance- to pinpoint improvements and deliver quarterly playbook updates.

What You Bring
- Proven Leader: 5+ years in SDR/BDR/BDM roles, with 2+ years managing or mentoring a team.
- Pipeline Champion: Demonstrated track record of exceeding opportunity-creation or pipeline targets in B2B SaaS.
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo (or equivalent data platforms), and Gong (or similar conversation-intelligence tools).
- Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable defining and reporting on KPIs, using analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach and train others to do the same.
- Self-Starter: Thrives in a remote, fast-moving environment; able to prioritize independently and rally a team around shared goals.
