About the role
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Training Administrator will provide communication within their Field support area to upcoming training classes. They will monitor enrollments to ensure classes are being populated according to session requirements. They will ensure completion of pre-requisites and pre-class preparation. This role will use various training performance reports to monitor learning plan completion and communicate when associates are due or past due on completing training requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor pre-requisite completions and pre-class preparation, to include equipment availability, system login, training materials, etc.
- Responsible for entering enrollments into the Learning Management System and mapping related Learning Plans.
- Perform class audits for enrollment fulfillment.
- Single Point of Contact for metrics reporting, associate and management questions and needs.
- On day of sessions, monitor attendance and escalate no shows or other class set up issues such as lack of supplies, login issues for virtual, etc.
- Leader observation, problems solved in a timely manner.
- Other projects/tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED Required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in administrative / coordinating type activities.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service or other Communication experience.
- Attentive decision making on balance of internal team needs and customer needs.
- Basic introductory skills in MS Access, LMS software, and Microsoft office.
- Use Access and Excel to provide accurate performance review.
- Agile to meet the needs of the business while maintaining focus on team performance.
- Ability to work independently with organization and time management skills.
- Ability to quickly address training class requests and scheduling within the Penske Learning and Management Center.
- Ability to travel – 10% required.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
