Job Description
As a Disability Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and adjudicating disability claims for our Group Insurance clients. You will work closely with clients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth claims process.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and assess disability claims to determine eligibility and benefits.
- Communicate with clients and healthcare providers to gather necessary information.
- Make decisions on claims based on policy guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in claims management or insurance industry.
- Knowledge of disability insurance products and regulations.
