About the Role

The Career Education Manager within the Career Management Centre (CMC) leadership team serves as a vital liaison between students and the business community, overseeing the development and management of career programs for concentrations and cohorts. This role facilitates employment opportunities, experiential learning, internship programs, applied projects, and career education initiatives, including executive speakers, career panels, and mentoring programs. This role also designs and implements targeted career education programming for undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni. The Career Education Manager markets CMC services to both SFU Beedie and external communities, fostering relationships with faculty, networking with prospective employers, and representing the university. Additionally, this role contributes to the strategic direction of the CMC unit, participates in recruitment activities, and manages departmental graduate employment information.
