We are currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Specialist for our Home Société store located in Ottawa. If you appreciate style, are talented in the field of visual merchandizing and have an eye for details you should not miss this opportunity!
Your role as a Visual Merchandising Specialist within our in-store team:
- Maximize sales growth and profitability by maintaining the showroom to provide an engaging experience for every customer;
- Follow marketing recommendations and guidelines in order to respect the image of the brand;
- Plan, organize and stock the sales floor;
- Maintain and stock the sales floor, including sales counters, displays and shelving units, while understanding stockings, signage and cleaning priorities;
- Move, unpack, assemble and place products on the sales floor with care; while respecting the aesthetic of the brand
- Work in collaboration with different team members: sales management, product management, floor technician, housekeeping attending, etc.

You are the person we are looking for if you have the following skills:
- You have 5 years of experience in retail/visual merchandising including interior design (preferred);
- You are autonomous, organized, creative and passionate about design;
- You are a person with an eye for details;
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- You are in good physical shape (you will be working with furniture and accessories);
- You have the ability to thrive under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment.
