We are seeking an Experienced Customs Broker to join our dynamic team at Paige Logistics Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing client relationships and facilitating freight transportation solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of delivering unparalleled service and value to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs.
- Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations from shipment initiation to delivery.
- Utilize data entry systems to maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth through effective account management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Customs brokerage within the logistics industry.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on relationship building and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with 3PL services and supply chain management principles is an asset.
- Proficient in data entry and use of logistics software
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
