Temporary Contract Position - 1.0 FTE Effective August 27, 2025 to June 25, 2026
Salary Range (Commensurate With Experience) $70,049 to $94,337 The London District Catholic School Board invites applications for the position of Temporary- Speech-Language Pathologist, reporting to the Senior Administrator of Professional Services. The successful candidate will provide programming and consultative services to area schools, school based teams, parents and students and to function as a system member of the Program Department Team. The hours of work will be determined by the Supervisor in consultation with the successful candidate. This position is covering a leave of absence from the board.
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Master's degree of Clinical Science (Speech-Language Pathology) or equivalent
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Proven ability to work successfully in partnership with students, school and system staff
- Experience working in an inclusive school setting and with a wide range of exceptionalities
- Knowledge of current research in assessment and intervention methods
- Ability to work within a Problem-Solving Framework
- Possess an understanding and appreciation of the mission of a Catholic school system
- Ability to provide professional development opportunities for staff
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed in a complex work environment
- Ability to quickly establish effective interpersonal relationships
