Our Naturopathic Health & Cancer Care Centre is seeking a Medical Office Assistant or Office Administrator for the permanent part time position of Patient Care Coordinator. This position will participate in the day-to-day operation of clinic main reception including answering phones, booking Doctor appointments, greeting patients, file management, etc. Candidates must demonstrate excellent:

Duties include but not limited to:

• Respond to patient communications in person, via phone and through email
• Coordinate appointment bookings for all doctors and clinic services
• Respond to internal tasks from doctors and management
• Manage specific administrative aspects of the clinic Electronic Medical Record system (Med-Access)
• Greet and engage with patients in a professional manner
• Demonstrate very strong communication and interpersonal skills
• MUST be able to work Weekends

This position will require successful candidates to work in both our Fort Langley and White Rock clinic locations.

MUST have Medical clinic administration experience (1-3 yrs min)

Qualifications

• Medical office experience
• Electronic medical records proficiency
• Front desk operations expertise
• Administrative experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
• Knowledge of EMR systems like Epic
• Understanding of medical terminology

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
