About the Role: Site Supervisor – St. Peter’s Location

This is a foundational leadership role. You’ll work alongside and support 12+ staff and collaborate closely with families, school partners and management team. You’ll shape to empower everyday experience for children, families and team members alike.

In This Role You Will

  • Support a team of 12+ staff across toddler, preschool, school-age kitchen and float roles
  • Ensure classroom coverage and scheduling are proactively maintained each day
  • Build trust and accountability through daily check-ins presence and respectful leadership
  • Lead performance check-ins, offer real-time coaching and recognize strengths
  • Uphold licensing health and safety standards with excellence
  • Collaborate with families and the school board with professionalism and care
  • Model clear communication and coach through resistance or change
  • Balance hands-on engagement in programs with administrative responsibilities

  • Be responsible for proactive scheduling and morale-building strategies
  • Strengthen documentation and prep systems for smooth licensing visits
  • Anchor team dynamics during transition by creating psychological safety and steady communication

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare
  • Holds a valid RECE designation and is a member in good standing with the college of ECE (REQUIRED)
  • Leads with presence, professionalism and clear boundaries
  • Is confident navigating real-world team dynamics and guiding change
  • Manages priorities and scheduling with calm efficiency
  • Uses Microsoft 365 and experienced with Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Has some experience with an HRIS system to support timesheets like Payworks
  • Has a valid driver’s license insurance and reliable vehicle

Essentials for This Role

  • Availability between 7:00am and 6:00pm (schedule flexes based on centre needs)
  • Comfort working on your feet, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling and lifting up to 25 lbs
  • A current Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Standard First Aid and CPR-Level C certification (renewal reimbursed after 1 year)

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
