📍 Location: 1850 Albion Rd # 14, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6J9 (close to Hwy 50 and Albion Rd).

About the Role

SSF is seeking a Sales Executive & Merchandiser to manage grocery store accounts (FreshCo, Sobeys, Walmart, No Frills, etc.), ensuring our products remain fully stocked and available to consumers. As a frontline ambassador, you will foster professional relationships with store managers, drive sales performance, and execute merchandising tasks. This position reports directly to the Key Account Manager (Mainstream).

Key Responsibilities

·        Secure and punch new store orders into the system.

·        Deliver orders and set up product displays in stores.

·        Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory to reduce product waste.

·        Build and maintain product displays according to brand standards.

·        Organize and manage backroom inventory, including repacking and handling damaged stock.

·        Work to minimize product returns, especially due to expiration.

·        Ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.

·        Represent SSF professionally, building strong store relationships.

·        Execute merchandising tasks ( up to 20% of the role ).

·        Report completed retail tasks efficiently via designated systems.

·        Achieve and surpass sales targets through proactive engagement.

·        Communicate promotions and sales objectives effectively to store personnel.

·        Utilize a smartphone for reporting, resizing/uploading product photos.

·        Perform physical duties , including lifting (up to 20lbs), kneeling, and reaching.

·        Participate in team meetings and scheduled tasks.

·        Handle additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery, retail, food production, or warehousing.
  • Knowledge of manual or powered pallet jacks (preferred).
  • Post-secondary certification from a recognized college.
  • Retail & planogram experience preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable working under pressure during peak hours.
  • Strong understanding of the food production environment.
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and/or Punjabi (mandatory).
