About the role
Thompson Construction Group is currently seeking a Traffic Control Person to support our Water & Sewer operations in the Edmonton area. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for both site crews and the public.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and control the flow of traffic and pedestrians around construction zones.
- Follow and enforce all site safety policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Maintain general site cleanliness and assist with housekeeping tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience is considered an asset.
- Prior flagging or traffic control experience is an asset.
- Valid Flag person certification is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Additional Information:
This is a temporary, full-time position based in our Edmonton, AB operations. Duration of employment is project-specific and dependent on client needs and operational planning.
