About the role
Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Deli Supervisor to join our Deli Team on a full-time basis at our Food Store location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Deli Manager, this leadership role plays a key part in supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional member and customer experiences.
What you’ll do:
· Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
· Support the Deli Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the Deli team.
· Assist in the day-to-day operations including food preparation, inventory management, receiving, and merchandising.
· Help achieve department goals related to sales, margins, and shrink by ensuring efficient planning and execution.
· Actively work on the sales floor, leading by example and promoting a positive, productive work environment.
· Support the performance management process by helping to train, develop, and supervise team members.
· Ensure compliance with Alberta Food Safety regulations, including sanitation and temperature logs.
· Promote and model safe food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance procedures.
· Be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
· Demonstrate behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen Cornerstone Co-op’s vision, mission, and values.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
· You have completed Grade 12 or bring a combination of education and relevant experience.
· You have previous supervisory or leadership experience in a food retail or kitchen environment (preferred).
· You’re energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about food and service.
· You’re a strong team player who leads by example and encourages collaboration.
· You’re honest, reliable, and driven to succeed.
· You’re physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
