Job Description:
We're looking for a DTC Growth Marketer to help us drive customer acquisition & retention across paid social, digital ad platforms & email marketing. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing Growth Marketing channels including paid media, lifecycle/retention, influencer, affiliate, and more - influencing strategy and orchestrating the day to day tactical operations
- Direct a sustainable and scalable growth engine, driving Flourish’s online business while staying within efficiency guardrails
- Drive our retention efforts, building strong cohorts and maximizing LTV
- Oversee our core online sales channels across DTC and Amazon to drive smooth operations
Important to Note:
- Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
- This role is hybrid, our office is located in Vaughan, Ontario
Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Execute and influence the strategy for Flourish’s paid social channels focused on growing acquisition, trial & driving profitable revenue growth. Focus on paid social and emerging digital advertising platforms and media formats
- Work closely with our external agency partner to optimize the paid media ad spend – scaling as required, driving ads to our Shopify account & Amazon
- Oversee analytics and data governance processes for how we measure the overall return on ad spend by channel and region. Ensure the effective flow of data to the Leadership Team
- Analyse customer data and behaviour to identify opportunities for upselling & cross-selling
- Implement loyalty programs and initiatives to increase customer retention rates
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns for customer engagement and retention
- Conduct regular customer feedback surveys to gather insights for improving customer experience
- Monitor key performance indicators related to customer retention and growth
- Working with the Operations Team, identify and address customer pain points to improve overall customer satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with existing customers to enhance loyalty and advocacy
- Focus on conversion rate improvement across our B2C site (click rate, add to cart, reach checkout, completed purchase, etc.), proficiency in Shopify require
- Work closely with our Creative Director and VP of Marketing to continuously improve the strategic direction & quality of our creative work to optimize for conversions.
- Ongoing website content maintenance including updates to product details, descriptions and imagery, customer support information, promotional details, and other brand positioning pages.
- Working closely with our Social Media Manager & external agency to continuously innovate our email & SMS marketing strategies, ensuring our activations are meaningful and impactful to our user-base.
Competencies
- You have a methodical and systematic approach of developing testing and executing new ideas·
- You are well-informed on emerging best practices in paid social, email marketing and other digital channels, and serve as a key resource to other leaders on the team as appropriate
- Minimum 2 years of experience buying digital media
- You are not afraid to use AI to your benefit!
- You can define, plan, and prioritize project KPIs to execute
- You have a solid understanding of all the major facets of digital marketing: Facebook, Amazon & Google Ads, digital analytics, landing pages, A/B testing and email marketing
- You understand everything there is to know about the core pillars of strategic email marketing - flows, campaigns, segmentation, deliverability, creative & A/B testing
- You can analyze and manipulate large sets of data to create easy-to-understand reports. You have strong Excel skills and can simplify data. You have advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
What you’ll need:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or equivalent industry experience
- 2 - 5 years of E-Commerce and Paid Ad experience
- Deep understanding of Shopify & Amazon
- Experience managing monthly paid media budgets across multiple channels (FB, IG, Tiktok, influencer)
- Experience managing growth marketing agencies, holding them accountable to stellar results
- Strong analytical skills, able to drive robust data-driven experimentation and distill numbers into decisions and digestible updates for executive leadership
- Track record of proven results, demonstrating high performance to deliver results
- Self-starter capable of producing a high quantity of work within tight deadlines.
