About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader in charge of Corporate Communications and Strategic Content, the Content Strategist will play a key role in BRP's Corporate Communications team by planning and overseeing the execution of the overall communications strategy to help achieve the company's objectives and strengthen its unique culture. You will use your expertise and experience to provide dedicated support (advisory role) to the company's various functions in developing and implementing communication plans to promote their programs and projects. This permanent position will be based in Montreal, Sherbrooke or Valcourt.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Contribute to the development and implementation of communication plans in support of various management projects and other company departments to achieve established targets.
Develop and implement communication strategies and develop content to provide integration, coherence and consistency of key messages to target audiences, both internally and externally, including the launch of new products, programs, events and special projects. .
Advise partners on strategies, tactics, means, key messages and communication channels to be used in announcements to managers or all employees.
Ensure the relevance, alignment and quality of the company's website content in a context of upgrading and in support of business objectives. Contribute to content writing.
Write engaging and relevant content for various internal and external communication tools.
Regularly evaluate and measure communications and their effectiveness, and implement new approaches and strategies to improve engagement and impact.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor's degree in communication or another related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience, mainly in organizational communications.
Bilingual French and English both written and oral is essential.
Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
Superior strategic consulting and change management skills.
Experience in developing content strategies, implementing an intranet/employee hub and writing Web content strongly preferred.
Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in plain language.
The ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, multi-tasking environment with tight and changing deadlines.
The ability to organize, plan and delegate work with collaborators and suppliers.
An exceptional ability to work in a team environment, building strong interpersonal relationships based on trust and collaboration.
The ability to see the big picture and take cultural considerations into account when writing and delivering messages.
Attention to detail, good judgement, empathy, enthusiasm, determination and creativity.
Knowledge of the Google Workspace suite, Microsoft 365 and Mailchimp marketing platform would be an asset.
