Job Title: Part Time Light Duty Cleaner

Location: Nanaimo, BC

Wage: $19.41

What you’ll be doing:

  • Wipe and sanitize all public areas
  • Mopping: spot mopping with light weight wet mopping, floor sweeping, dust mopping, scrubbing (including imop),
  • Vacuuming: Carpets
  • Bathrooms: Cleaning and servicing
  • Waste: emptying of waste baskets and ashtrays, washing of ashtrays and desktops
  • Furniture: soft seating, spot washing (daily removal of handprints of day-to-day traffic and scuff marks) of walls, door frames, door glass/plexi, and cleaning of light fixtures
  • Transporting accumulated garbage to the compactor/dumpster.
  • Food court cleaning and sanitizing.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to take direction and function in a team environment and individually.
  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
