Executive Wealth Advisors of Raymond James is hiring a full-time (40 hours) experienced office Receptionist. Raymond James Ltd. is one of Canada’s leading full-service independent investment dealers offering high-quality investment products and services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.
You will assist the Branch Administrator in managing the office. You will provide comprehensive support to the branch team, and clients. This is an hourly full time position with the possibility of advancement opportunity, with competency and securities licensing exams.
Specifically, you will:
- Greet clients, answer phone, route callers, take messages, and respond to general inquiries, both in person and on the phone;
- Set up meetings with clients and industry representatives;
- Maintain stationery and supply levels;
- Open and distribute all mail;
- Manage additional monthly and quarterly administrative tasks;
- Perform project-based work for office team;
- Assist in developing and implementing work process documentation;
- Prepare monthly client cards to be mailed;
- Occasionally go to the bank to make deposits;
- Assist in maintaining contact database;
- Prepare boardroom for meetings;
- Water front planters in the summer;
- Perform light housekeeping duties;
- Put out the recycling, garbage and recycling weekly;
- Decorate the office for seasonal changes.
To qualify for this opportunity, you possess:
- Exceptional client service skills;
- Neat and organized demeanor;
- Able to manage several responsibilities at once;
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Excellent communication skills.
In addition, you:
- Are able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities;
- Are a self-starter and possess good problem-solving skills;
- Have excellent time management skills;
- Are willing to work in a dynamic ‘team’ environment;
- Able to navigate a variety of personalities;
- This position is open to advancement, with Canadian Securities licensing.
