Are you eager to contribute to the implementation of the legal strategy for a fast-growing international group? Do you want to leverage your business law expertise to assist leadership in the decision-making process? Under the supervision of the Vice President, Legal Affairs, we are looking for a Director, Corporate Affairs to contribute to the success of ongoing projects. This position requires a presence at the Quebec City office three days a week.
As Director, Corporate Affairs, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Actively contributing to acquisition, financing, and strategic partnership projects by aligning the group’s legal and business objectives.
- Overseeing corporate secretarial activities for the parent company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best governance practices.
- Developing, updating, and overseeing the implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Managing the commercial insurance portfolio to protect the group’s assets and operations.
- Administering and supervising stock option and share purchase plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborating with external counsel to effectively manage strategic legal files.
- Supporting the implementation of various operational projects in collaboration with internal and external teams.
What Makes You a Great Fit For Our Team
- You are a lawyer and a member of the Quebec Bar.
- You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- You are bilingual and communicate effectively.
- You have experience in business acquisitions and international group contexts.
- You have sharp analytical and business judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
- You are recognized for your strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
- You stand out for your excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
- You are known for your leadership, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.
