WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Bilingual Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources needs across Corporate Functions. This role is a 12 month contract.
In this role, you will:
- Support Corporate Director, HR & HR Manager with HRBP related work
- Administer internal approval process for salaried employee transactions ensuring HRIS (JD Edwards) is updated and maintained.
- Act as a key liaison between Human Resources and Payroll, ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of payroll information
- Support various HR Programs (i.e. Benefit Programs, Employee Perks Program, Employee Recognition Program, Company Car Program, Cell Program, leave management, etc.)
- Work on HR Reporting – learning program reporting and quarterly compliance training reporting
- Deploy & tracks all mandatory company-wide e-learning programs to salaried employees including onboarding.
- Administer onboarding process for new salaried employees within Corporate Function Teams including enrollments, training, and HRIS entry.
- Prepare and issue employment and reference letters, manage and reconcile vacation records, and administer the Milestone Reward Program by coordinating employee gifts with vendors.
- Be an active member of the Joint Health and Safety committee, develop meeting agendas, coordinate member training and events, conduct regular health and safety inspections
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bilingualism (French) is a must
- University or College degree (in Business, preferably Human Resources)
- Obtained or working towards CHRP designation
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR capacity
- You will be a trusted partner to the business, operating with professionalism and confidentiality
