Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Mental Health and Addictions, the Residential Treatment Services Manager will manage the day to day operations of the Youth Intensive Treatment Home to ensure the current developmental, academic, treatment, and psycho-social needs of youth in care of the program are met. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the provision of holistic treatment services for youth in a home setting that is consistent with the vision, mission and core values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care. The Residential Treatment Services Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a culturally safe and integrated service for all assigned youth and receiving treatment services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Social Work or Psychology Graduate Degree is preferred. A minimum four-year Social Work Degree or related Degree is required.
- Three (3) years direct service with children, adolescent and families;
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in a managerial role preferred;
- Training and experience in evidence-based programming, as it applies to the Anishinabek family, school, community, and social service organizations;
- Training and experience in the co-ordination of residential care related activities and programming as it applies to the Anishinabek family and community.
- Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Assistant Director of Mental Health and Addictions in relation to service requirements.
- Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and must have access to a personal vehicle.
Hours of Work: 35 weekly
