About the role
Job Description
- Assign hourly team members work schedules and maintaining staffing schedules for all departments at the facility using NH Scheduler.
- Validate and reconcile scheduled hours worked by team member through DAILY reports. Capturing activities in time blocks accurately. Ensuring actual time is reflected for payroll approvals and submissions. Submitting validated hours to payroll each BI-WEEKLY pay cycle. If the absence is less than 48 hours’ notice, the timekeeper will enter the time off on the hourly team member’s behalf.
- Manage time entries, corrections, switch shifts and approvals DAILY.
- Manage vacant schedules due to team member absences, including unplanned absences, vacation requests, LOAs and terminations for all hourly team members.
- Maintain staffing levels for facility by scheduling staff coverage for any unfilled shifts by reaching out to hourly team members and staffing agencies. If applicable, utilizing Call Multiplier (open shift management tool) to coordinate outreach as required.
- Register team members into the biometrics machine.
- Approve time off for the hourly team members as they have access to schedules and the upcoming time off list. This should be completed in conjunction with speaking to the appropriate Department Manager.
- Assists new resident administration processes such as: entering residents into Point Click Care (PCC), creating clinical charts, liaising with families and community.
- Receive orders, distribute and stores nursing supplies.
- Provide Administrative, coordination and communication support to Operations Manager and other LTC Facility Leadership as required.
