Iron Crew Labourer
Reporting to: Foreperson
Location: Ottawa and surrounding area

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the installation and erection of structural iron and steel for buildings, bridges, and other structures
- Unloading and positioning steel components for assembly and installation
- Using hand and power tools to align, bolt, weld, and rivet iron and steel structures
- Assisting in the assembly and installation of steel girders, columns, and other structural components
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Performing other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in ironwork or assisting ironworkers
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license and own mode of transportation required
- Work in all weather conditions
