Our team combines advanced psychotherapy techniques, including EMDR, and expertise in Perinatal Mental Health to help moms heal, rediscover themselves, and strengthen their relationships. We prioritize creating a nurturing, supportive space for moms to feel heard, supported, and empowered in Barrie and Orillia, ON.
Role Description
This is an independent contractor role for a Registered Social Worker. The Registered Social Worker will be responsible for providing individual therapy sessions and community workshops to empower moms on their motherhood journey. The role is based in Barrie and/or Orillia, ON with some flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Clinical Social Work skills, Psychotherapy skills, and EMDR basic training completion
- Expertise in Perinatal Mental Health and working with mothers
- Experience in providing individual therapy sessions, couples therapy experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Master's degree in Social Work, with Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation
- Previous experience working with mothers in a clinical setting is a plus, as is your own experience as a parent
