About the Calgary Stampede

Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Systems Admin, the Food and Beverage Systems Administrator is responsible for providing technical system support, training development and high-level accounting procedures while supporting the Catering operations team. Working within a diverse portfolio of events and lines of business, this role will execute on all Food and Beverage systems entries, maintenance and programming needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Food & Beverage technology leader – including Momentus, FoodTrak, People System & Adobe Forms Central.
- Momentus Super-User and primary process owner for Food & Beverage division.
- Provide Momentus, Food Track & People System user support to the Food and Beverage department by managing systems, providing user training and collaborating with IT on system upgrades and maintenance.
- Help Desk advisor for all technical support for the Food and Beverage department.
- Specialize in the creation & generation of Momentus reports and financial statements reflecting revenues, labour forecasting, tracking & costing.
- Complete and reconcile event invoicing, bar inventory, cash sales and the recovery and payment of funds.
- Execute accounting functions in Momentus and Food Track systems.
- Proprietor of Food & Beverage Social Media sites for staff communication. Supervise set up and distribution of information.
- Provide administrative and customer service support to the Food & Beverage division, including answering telephones, assisting with payroll and gratuities, cash deposits, processing vouchers and internal work order recovery.
- Collaborate and liaise with the organization’s internal groups to provide customer service and event operation support.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:
- Post-secondary Diploma or Associate Degree in Agriculture, Business, Event Management or Finance preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ in event based administrative roles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of event programming and operations
- Strong understanding of volunteer-based programs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
