JOB DESCRIPTION
AAA Canada is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Manager to add his/her expertise to our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the entire industrial park. He/she will ensure the reliability, safety and optimization of equipment, while guaranteeing regulatory compliance and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance operations on the entire fleet (machines, production equipment, gondolas, vehicles, safety equipment such as showers and eyewash fountains, oil fleet).
- Manage and optimize the maintenance department's human and material resources.
- Diagnose breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
- Monitor maintenance-related KPIs.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance plans and safety procedures.
- Manage relations with suppliers and subcontractors for the purchase of parts or specialized services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Train and supervise the maintenance team.
- Manage the maintenance department budget and propose improvements to reduce costs and increase equipment reliability.
Skills and qualifications
- Degree in mechanical, industrial or related engineering (asset).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance management or coordination.
- Proven experience in managing the maintenance of a complete fleet including machinery, production equipment, aerial work platforms, vehicles, safety equipment and petroleum fleet.
- Strong team management and technical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management tools (CMMS).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Oral and written bilingualism (French - English) is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.
Required experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
