As part of our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) team, you will lead efforts to help organizations enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal audit functions, enterprise risk management programs, third-party relationships, regulatory compliance, governance, and sustainability initiatives. You will oversee the analysis of business strategies, processes, and systems to help clients understand their risks and identify opportunities for improvement. Leveraging your deep technical knowledge and leadership experience, you will manage the delivery of governance, risk, and control engagements for Financial Services clients, while contributing to business development and team growth.
What you will do
- Lead the design and execution of governance, risk, and compliance engagements
- Oversee risk assessments, control evaluations, and testing activities
- Review and finalize client deliverables including reports and presentations
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations
- Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple engagements
- Identify opportunities to expand services and support business development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk management
- Proven experience managing teams and client engagements
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Financial Services regulatory environment
- Background in Financial Services such as banking, insurance, or fintech
- Experience or specialization in anti-money laundering is preferred
- Professional designation in risk, controls, or internal audit
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
