SUMMARY: Reporting to the Coordinator, Program Support Specialist Level 4 is responsible for providing administrative and program support to ensure the effective operation of various instructor-focused initiatives within the LINC Home Study program. Key duties include responding to requests for support, maintaining records, providing training, and assisting in program evaluation and implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities Instructor Support
- Provide escalated support and troubleshooting
- Orient instructors to program policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance with program policies
- Assist with instructor recruitment
- Administer instructor surveys
- Perform advanced webinar moderation
- Assist with preparing communications and facilitating meetings
- Champion the use of Avenue.ca
- Offer platform and standard operating procedure support
Data Management and Analysis
- Perform data entry tasks
- Track and maintain data and generate reports
- Perform data analytics to support monitoring of program metrics
Administrative Tasks
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Program Support and Development
- Lead program activities and initiatives
- Support program outreach
- Advise program management on needed supports
Training and Resource Development
- Design, develop, and deliver instructor training and resources
Backup and Flexibility
- Perform backup for Program Support Specialists at Level 3 or Level 4
Qualifications
- Post Secondary degree in education, business administration or related discipline
- 2 years of customer service/administrative support experience
- 1 year of online training experience
- Proficient in MS Office suite and SharePoint
- Customer service skills
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Collaboration skills
- Detail-orientation
- Time management skills
- Ability to learn new technology
- Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of newcomer services and support
- Intermediate data analysis skills
- Advanced presentation skills
- Basic-Intermediate instructional design skills
- Problem-solving skills
- LINC experience required
- LINC Home Study experience preferred
- Avenue.ca experience required
- TESL Certificate an asset
- Occasional evenings and weekends
