DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Intakes and maintains staff schedules (e.g., master rotation) in accordance with client/facility requirements.

• Calls and schedules staff for shifts and replacements.

• Using strong analytical and organizational skills, plays a key role in effective staffing and scheduling.

• Communicates changes in staffing, and arranges staff level changes.

• Revises schedules.

• Provides back-up and relief for staff, as required.

• Monitors call volume received, shifts booked, abandoned calls, handle time, and wait times.

• Works collaboratively with clients, field employees and community partners.

• Acts as a problem solver for client and responds to inquiries from, community partners and field employees.

• Reports clients’ and field employees’ concerns to the supervisor.

• Directs all field employees’ professional practice concerns to the supervisor.

• Completes new client order form.

• Communicates revised schedule to staff and clients/facilities.

• Confirms employee availability.

• Maintains current seniority lists.

• Formats, prints and posts staff schedules.

• Compiles and posts call-in lists.

• Types and prints schedules, daily staffing sheets and shift reports.

• Collects, verifies, enters, and files all pertinent client and field employee data.

• Checks schedules and makes any necessary corrections.

• Assists applicants in filling out employment forms.

• Performs word processing, orders supplies, photocopies, shreds, provides reception/telephone services, files.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Provides positive leadership.

• Stays customer service-oriented.

• Demonstrates high integrity to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to field employees and clients of Staff Relief.

• Acts as an ambassador of Staff Relief.
