About the role
GNR is seeking a “hands-on” Division CONTROLLER for a well-established & growing AEROSPACE/DEFENSE manufacturing organization.
__ Relocation assistance to the Toronto, Canada area.
This position offers visibility and growth within the organization, where you will be actively involved in the day-to-day financial and accounting needs of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Manage all accounting functions including financial reporting, AP / AR, general ledger, fixed assets, month & year-end closeouts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage & mentor a small team while collaborating with other executives & functions
- Financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets & cash flow statements, prepare budgets. Defense accounting for DCMA/DCAA audits.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Familiar with all cost variables & variance analysis in a PRODUCT-based MANUFACTURING environment. Ideally knows the FAR/DFAR compliances.
- Degree plus 10+ years’ relevant accounting experience within a MANUFACTURING environment, ideally AEROSPACE / DEFENSE products.
- Ability to manage and resolve complex account reconciliation
- Ensure compliance and Internal Controls including GAAP and internal audits
- Canadian Citizenship required
Direct-hire / Full Time position / attractive base salary + bonus
