About the role
We’re looking for a 442A Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton, ON. This is a full-time role with competitive pay.
The position follows a 12-hour continental shift, rotating between days and nights, with every other weekend off.

What You’ll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control devices
- Perform regular preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Work with PLC systems (primarily Allen-Bradley) to diagnose and resolve issues
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Maintain clear, accurate maintenance records
- Assist in training apprentices or less experienced team members
- Always follow safety regulations and company policies (OHSA, ESA, etc.)

What You Bring
- Valid 442A Industrial Electrician license (We may consider 309A with strong industrial experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and PLC diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and code specifications
- Experience in metal processing, die casting, or stamping is a strong asset

Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Canada Inc. is a privately held North American based extruder of standard and custom aluminum profiles.
