About Speers Construction Inc.
Speers Construction Inc. is a family-owned business that has been providing exceptional construction services for over 60 years. The company was founded in the early 60’s by Ray Speerbrecker, who started by purchasing a 06 CAT for skidding logs. This humble beginning marked the birth of Speers Construction and the start of Ray’s success story in the construction industry.
As the years passed, Speers continued to evolve, and in the 80’s, they transitioned into double track construction for CP Rail. This led to more opportunities, and eventually, the company got into highway and mining work, securing an annual contract with Georgia Pacific in the 90’s. As more opportunities were available, Speers grew into a company that focused on providing the best quality construction services possible with experience in highway construction, dam construction, railway construction, mining, road building and much more.
Over the last 15 years, Speers has worked on Run-of-River hydro projects, CP rail projects, numerous civil projects, and contributed to the development of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. The company’s many years of experience have developed a reputation for providing outstanding performance, exceptional service and exceeding the needs of its clients.
