Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastry LTD. This role is vital in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering consistent quality and superior service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Manage budgeting processes and financial forecasting to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for efficient financial management.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within the baking or food manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
