Sansom Equipment Limited is Eastern Canada’s leading distributor and service provider for pumps, blowers, valves, generators, VFDs, and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications.

We’re expanding our sales team and are currently seeking a driven Territory Sales Representative to join us in Nova Scotia. This role will focus on sales development responsibilities with our Industrial and Municipal end user accounts in the region, with a focus on mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a large territory, focusing on both existing accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Build strong, solution-focused relationships with municipal and industrial end users.
  • Provide technical support and application-based solutions for rotating equipment and engineered systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Promote and sell Sansom’s full suite of products and services in the region.

What You Bring to the Role:

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, pumps, blowers, VFDs, and generators.
  • Understanding of municipal and industrial water and wastewater processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles is required; PLC or VFD programming is a strong asset.
  • Experience with diesel engines and power generation is a bonus.

Sales & Territory Management:

  • Proven ability to manage a large geographic territory and maintain a portfolio of clients.
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales, applications engineering, or business development roles.

Education & Experience:

  • Technical diploma or degree in engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • Background in engineering, inside sales, or application support is considered a strong foundation for this role.
  • Knowledge of Nova Scotia’s municipal and industrial landscape is an asset.
