DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate for this position would have previous experience in fertility and/or an OB/GYNE office environment. The Donor and Surrogacy Admin is the first point of contact to those referred to and seeking guidance in assisted family building through third party. They provide day-to-day organization of administrative activities and communication with team member as well as patients. This role requires sound judgement, attention to detail and sensitivity.
Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Orienting and educating patients on the Donor and Surrogacy program.
Accurately entering/confirming demographics and relevant patient info.
Obtaining and processing consents and patient records.
Scheduling and confirming patient consultations and follow ups.
Managing phone and email communications.
Maintaining efficient patient flow and an organized program.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding and compliance regarding confidentiality
Knowledge about providing a safe and inclusive environment to gender and sexually diverse people (2SLGBTQIA+)
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Be able to work independently, multi-task and be self-motivated.
previous experience in fertility field and/or donor and surrogacy is an asset.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Medical Office Administrator Diploma, 2-3 years of experience
Combined education and experience.
