- Recruitment range $72,242- $79,650 starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.
- Performance range: $93,951 salary range ceiling is available through annual performance increases.
Job Summary
Mandate:
Within the School of Nursing, the Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) Program Manager oversees the day-to-day administrative, operational, and clinical planning activities of the Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program and provides oversight for the Program within the scope of the School of Nursing priorities and plans. The Program Manager works closely with the NP Faculty Coordinator to assist with delivery of the NP Program and organize planning for ongoing program changes.
Objectives:
- Oversee the logistics of program delivery, including scheduling, resourcing and clinic/lab infrastructure, in consultation with leadership, faculty, and other administrative team members.
- Lead preparation of regulatory submissions, program evaluation reports, and accreditation documentation to meet internal and external accountability standards.
- Support program growth and innovation through strategic planning, systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and evolve program documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices, compliance standards, and School of Nursing priorities.
- Supervise and develop program support staff, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented administrative team.
Some flexible hours / days of work may be required for academic health clinic and lab/simulation center support.
Job Requirements
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in health administration, education, public health, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a complex administrative or health education environment.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

- Ability to apply project management best practices to achieve project goals on time.

- Experience writing briefing notes and reports for leadership teams.
- Knowledge of current health/human work force conditions and trends.
- Ability to identify and analyze issues, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate, build and maintain positive relationships with diverse individuals and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience managing a budget, including understanding of budget reporting and expense reconciliation.
