We are growing and looking for an experienced Parts Technician / Parts Person to provide parts support for our customers in the Calgary region.

Work Schedules:

We are specifically looking to fill the following shifts and can be flexible with scheduling options for the right candidate:

  • Monday to Friday – 9am to 8pm
  • Saturday Sunday Monday 8am to 8pm

Responsibilities Include:

  • Looking up and ordering parts as needed
  • Making product recommendations and selling complimentary parts
  • Assisting the service department with all their parts needs
  • Ensuring all parts are invoiced / added to repair orders
  • Answering phone calls and generating parts quotes as necessary

Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess to gain consideration for this position:

  • Previous experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry.
  • High degree of product and technical knowledge.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
  • Must be self starter and motivated to sell.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must conduct his / her self in a professional manner.
  • Must have superior problem solving skills to achieve a win-win solutions.

Qualifications that are WANTED in a candidate:

  • Ability to use Microsoft programs and applications.
  • ADP accounting software experience.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • The ability to communicate and work with suppliers.
  • Strive for respect and teamwork within all departments.
  • Able to utilize manufacturer and supplier websites.

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Work location maybe either our 90 Ave SE or 61 Ave SE dealership locations.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation may be required upon completion of training period.
