About New Heights School - Home and Community Support

Civic and Social Organizations
11-50

New Heights was established in 1999 when a group of motivated parents came together through the common belief that there could be more for their children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related disability. ASD is a complex neurodevelopmental condition marked by social interaction and communication challenges along with stereotyped repetitive behavior. Since inception, New Heights has been proudly serving close to 100 families annually through their Home & Community and School Programs, breaking down barriers for children and young adults and equipping them for independent, self-empowered, purposeful lives. Consultation and coaching are provided by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a developmental assistant, psychologist, occupational therapist, and speech language pathologist.

We're relentlessly dedicated to encouraging and assisting students as they develop both academic and life skills so they can be themselves, make friends, and lead fulfilling lives.
