CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome customers to the restaurant; engage in friendly conversations and build relationships with new and reoccurring customers.
- Guide customers to tables, manage reservations and communicate with Servers about when a new party has arrived.
- Assist Servers in delivering drinks and food to customers, cleaning and resetting tables.
- Oversee and manager beer sales from our OYB Merch and Cold Beer Cooler.
- Perform other various duties such as:
o Ensure tables are ready for seating
o Monitor overall restaurant activity
o Inspect menus for cleanliness
o Assist Servers and Kitchen when necessary.
HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: You’ve previously worked in a similar role; however, we are open to training someone with the right attitude!
- Excellent Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is a top priority at Old Yale Brewing. You are friendly, approachable, fun, kind and able to engage with everyone in a positive manner.
- Strong Communication: Effective communication is key! You’ll need to take orders, answer questions about the menu and ensure the food is presented as per the customers request.
- Adaptability: Our location can be fast-paced and ever-changing. Being adaptable and able to handle busy periods is keen.
- Teamwork: You value teamwork and are always a team player!

OLD YALE BREWING We opened our doors way back in 1999 and since our start, we’ve always stayed true to our roots, seeking perfect balance using the finest, all-natural ingredients to craft truly one-of-a-kind beers and delicious campfire-inspired food.
