Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening duties including breakfast setting.
  • Setting up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Responding promptly and acknowledging all guests.
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, 86'd items in the restaurant.
  • Processing reservations and preparing floor plan for service.
  • Assisting service and busperson teams with table cleaning, clearing and resetting.
  • Communicating V.I.P. arrivals and special requests to designated personnel for follow up.
  • Closing duties including break down goods, cleaning all equipment & areas, returning equipment to locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Serving It Right certification.
  • Food Safe Level 1 considered an asset.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance.
  • Capable to bend frequently, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant is an asset.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a hotel environment, including early mornings (5 am), late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.86-$33.15 per hour
