Financial Analyst
Here is what a typical day looks like

Annual and Long-Term Operating Plans and Capital Plans (cash & debt)
-
Financial analysis for business cases to support business decision making including Net Present Value and discounted cash flows
-
Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions to support business cases, forecasts and projections
-
Identify financial performance trends, financial risks and make recommendations
-
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to increase understanding of cases, review financial information and forecasting.

Provide support in creating financial models and making financial forecasts.

Support the development and analysis of compensation plans
-
Creating and supporting cost allocation models
The value you bring
-
4+ years of accounting and/or analysis experience
-
CPA designation is preferred
-
Use curiosity and critical thinking skills to find outliers in financial information and bring solutions to problems
-
You can collaborate with others to transform numbers on a spreadsheet into a story that informs or recommends a course of action
-
Experience in the following areas is an asset:
-
Enterprise Financial Planning including Operating and Capital Planning
-
Writing and presenting business cases
-
Analyzing and presenting financial information
-
Organization and prioritization skills in high volume environment
-
Ability to work with and learn a variety of software programs
-
Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate level, pivot tables, lookups)
-
Exposure to Power BI reporting an asset
Hours: Full-time 37.5/ hour/
Location: Remote in Canada
Compensation Range: $70,000 - $96,000
