Financial Analyst

Here is what a typical day looks like

• Annual and Long-Term Operating Plans and Capital Plans (cash & debt)

• Financial analysis for business cases to support business decision making including Net Present Value and discounted cash flows

• Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions to support business cases, forecasts and projections

• Identify financial performance trends, financial risks and make recommendations

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to increase understanding of cases, review financial information and forecasting.

• Provide support in creating financial models and making financial forecasts.

• Support the development and analysis of compensation plans

• Creating and supporting cost allocation models

The value you bring

• 4+ years of accounting and/or analysis experience

• CPA designation is preferred

• Use curiosity and critical thinking skills to find outliers in financial information and bring solutions to problems

• You can collaborate with others to transform numbers on a spreadsheet into a story that informs or recommends a course of action

• Experience in the following areas is an asset:

• Enterprise Financial Planning including Operating and Capital Planning

• Writing and presenting business cases

• Analyzing and presenting financial information

• Organization and prioritization skills in high volume environment

• Ability to work with and learn a variety of software programs

• Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate level, pivot tables, lookups)

• Exposure to Power BI reporting an asset

Hours: Full-time 37.5/ hour/

Location: Remote in Canada

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $96,000
